How lucky am I to have spent a little time with these little ones. These girls are not only cousins, but as you can see they are the best of friends.

Paul+Christa=3 beautiful children
Last weekend, I met up with Paul & Christa and their two beautiful daughers and handsome boy for a Sunday session at Heritage Park in Taylor. The day was overcast, but nonetheless perfect!
Paul and Christa, I don’t need to do any explaining you know I think the world of you. Both of you are absolutely wonderful by yourself, but together with your family…well, you’re just fabulous!
I’m already looking forward to our next session – thank you both for sharing the afternoon with me!

Sisters=Friends Forever
There is nothing more beautiful than to see (& feel) the bond of two sisters. One word sums up this session: Amazing!
This is why I LOVE photography, it records those special moments in time and I am so excited that I was the lucky girl to have been documenting it. Thank you both! I will always remember the fun we had, especially the park job – that was funny!! Why didn’t I take a picture of that?

Itsy Bitsy Spider with la familia Gonzalez
I recently had a session with the Gonzalez family and it was all fun. Daddy’s little boy and Mommy’s little angel was of course the star of the shoot. And boy he is a star! This little one was so energetic and I loved every minute of it.
Balloons, running, swinging, sliding, jumping and of course laughing was apart of this day at the park. I’m so glad I was able to capture that sweet smile and personality!
The best part of this session was the singing! Yep, I think he was completely impressed with my singing abilities…. “Itsy Bitsy Spider” was the song of the day and we sang it harmouniously (well we thought so). Others in the park that may have not thought so, but we had fun. By far this is one of my favorite sessions!! Thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful family.

I was thrilled to be taking maternity photos for my best friend Tracey. We have been friends since the 5th grade and she has never looked more beautiful.
Luke Robert will have a big brother Cody and he is already looking forward to teaching little brother to skate board.

cinco de mayo
I believe in living in the moment. Which means I tend to live in the ’spontaneous’ side of life. My cousin Teri called me at 10 am and invited me to spend the day with her – - -I had a million things to do around the house, but I thought I really want to have some fun today, so that’s what I did. I spent the day in Southwest Detroit with my cousins and we celebrated Cinco de Mayo.
Our day started out at La Colemena (the honey bee) market which is my favorite place to shop for tortillas, fruits and vegitables, chirizo and so much more… I could go on, but it’s making me hungry. They had the ’set up’ food, beer, mariachis and lots of dancing. Good music, great food and wonderful company – - I am blessed!

Ruben Alejandro – Bautizo 28 de marzo
It was a beautiful event to witness, the baptism of baby Ruben, son of Diana and Ruben Ortega. Baby Ruben was surrounded by friends and family at the same Church where his parent’s marriage was blessed, St. Anne’s in Detroit, Michigan.
Long time friends, Patty and Sergio committed to be the proud Padrinos (godparents). Let me say, they were completely thrilled to be a part of this exciting day. Their eyes lit up when holding baby Ruben. So sweet.
After the ceremony, friends and family gathered for a luncheon around the corner at the Mexican Town restaurant, where everyone enjoyed a traditional Mexican lunch. Homemade Mexican sugar cookies, cake and angel wings were also served.
It was a beautiful ceremony and I was honored to be documenting this very special day for Diana and Ruben. Thank you

Jenell and Derek: Engagement
Their paths were supposed to cross. More than a few times, but during the many years they lived around the corner from each other it didn’t happen. Jenell and Derek were destined to be together. In fact, when this beautiful couple finally found each other, introductions of many family and friends were not necessary.
I had the pleasure and honor of taking their engagement photos in Detroit on the river front. A place they love to spend time in the summer.
